Health Care Assistant

If you want to provide residents with a safe and meaningful existence, there is now a vacant position as a healthcare assistant in rotating shifts around the clock and on all days of the week.

Neriusaaq is a nursing home that was inaugurated in 2008, with beautiful living rooms and lovely rooms. The house is divided into 3 departments.

We emphasize creating a safe and homely environment without an institutional feel in an open and respectful collaboration with residents and their relatives.

We have 43 residents with various needs for care and support around the clock and a respite space.

Here, the focus is on dignity, presence, and a good everyday life for each resident with shared values and goals that will ensure continuous development in the home.

Start date: By further agreement or April 1, 2025

The tasks and responsibilities are as follows:

• Basic care and support tasks as well as practical assistance
• Support for resident activities
• Guidance of students
• Information / communication between residents and relatives

Qualifications:

• You are trained as a healthcare assistant/social worker.
• You are good at initiating and motivating.
• You are adaptable.
• Preferably in Greenlandic.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Naalakkersuisut and SIK at any given time.

The position can be assigned to housing.
