About the job:

The Municipality of Sermersooq has a profile for its youth centers, which is why NUIF youth centers operate as a business focused on creativity and art.

As a theater teacher with children and young people, you will be responsible for planning and playing closely with children/young people. The job is varied, and you are expected to be flexible.

Your work:

• Planning and staging of the play
• Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and relevant colleagues
• To contribute significantly to the development of NUIF's activities

We expect that you:

• You need to have an education in performing arts or similar.
• Experience with or interest in working with children and young people
• Is proactive, responsible, and cooperative
• Can work independently while also being part of a strong team.
• Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
