We are seeking a physiotherapist for Ilulissat Regional Hospital in Avannaata Municipality. The position is 40 hours per week and requires experience with musculoskeletal issues as well as treatment of surgical, neurological, and medical patients. You will work in an interdisciplinary team with doctors and therapists and contribute to the development of patient pathways.
We are looking for a new colleague at Ilulissat Regional Hospital. The position is a permanent employment of 40 hours per week.
Ilulissat Regional Hospital is located in the Avannaata Region, which is also a municipality with 12,000 inhabitants. You will be part of an integrated healthcare system that aims to create good patient pathways. The work is carried out in close collaboration with doctors and involves the Municipality of Avannaata. The therapy consists of 4 therapists (3 physiotherapists and one occupational therapist), forming a solid team that ensures a service for all citizens.
The tasks in physiotherapy are varied and carried out independently in a professional environment. Therefore, we are looking for a therapist who can work independently, is not afraid of challenges, and can contribute to ongoing development. Physiotherapists with experience and qualifications in the treatment of musculoskeletal issues are preferred, as well as those with experience and competence in treating hospitalized surgical, neurological, and medical patients. At the same time, you should be good at helping to set the framework for which tasks need to be addressed and how. Additionally, it is also an advantage if you have an interest in both physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
You will be part of a team with three physiotherapists and an occupational therapist. You will engage in close interdisciplinary collaboration with interpreters, doctors, nurses, and therapists at the national hospital in Nuuk.

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
