Working hours: Weekdays 08:00 – 16:00

Sana Social is organizationally placed under the Psychiatric area, which consists of:

Secretariat
Sana Social is led by a senior social worker and works closely with both the hospital's departments and the patients' home municipalities.
Your tasks
You will have a central role in the social work surrounding the patients. Your tasks will include:

Interdisciplinary collaboration across the hospital's specialties (medical, surgical, palliative, etc.)
-
Social assessment, including the preparation of a social history.
-
Advice and guidance for hospitalized patients
-
Preparation of applications
-
Follow-up on psychiatric patients' social conditions during hospitalization
-
Collaboration with the municipalities' social services.

Planning and participation in networking and printing meetings
-
Meeting facilitation and minutes writing
-
Documentation in electronic patient records
We imagine that you:

Is trained as a social worker.

Is bilingual (Greenlandic and Danish)
-
Has experience with social work – preferably in Greenland
-
Has solid knowledge of relevant legislation

Can work independently and in a structured manner.

Housing is assigned according to the rules applicable at any time in the Greenlandic Health Service.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional upon a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
