We are looking for a quick colleague with good technical insight and a desire to assist with phone support, tickets, and projects, as well as optimize IT usage in the Greenlandic Health Service. You will work with clinical systems, Microsoft 365, data networks, and PC maintenance. Your role involves IT support and project work.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR THIS POSITION We need a quick colleague with good technical insight and the desire to assist with both phone calls, tickets, and projects, as well as optimizing IT usage in the Greenlandic Health Service.
Across Greenland and in Denmark, over 1,600 skilled and hard-working colleagues rely on their IT systems in a busy everyday life. At IT & Digitalization, we work together with IT providers to make their daily lives easier, so we can jointly ensure up-to-date prevention and treatment across the country.
A small selection of the systems you will encounter in everyday life is:
-
Clinical systems: Cambio Cosmic, BCC Lab, SECTRA, Apovision, Topcon, Auditbase, and many more.
-
Microsoft 365: The Office suite both in the cloud and local clients as well as SharePoint and Teams.
-
Datanet: Wired and wireless network based on Cisco equipment as well as MPLS between our many remote locations. A major upgrade is ahead, which you can help plan and execute.
-
Preparation and maintenance of PCs: Optimization and deployment of packages with EasyInstall.
-
Administration and case management via Zendesk and ID Connect
As an IT consultant, you will assist your colleagues in the clinical and administrative departments with solving their IT problems as well as configuring and setting up new equipment. Depending on your professional background, you will participate in larger and smaller projects.
If you are skilled in PowerShell scripting or proficient in SharePoint setup and management, we have a number of exciting additional tasks for you. And if you can explain the many possibilities of SharePoint to users in an educational way, you will earn high praise both among your colleagues inside and outside the department!
Your educational background could be, for example, an IT supporter, and perhaps you have supplemented it with an advanced degree as a data technician. Or you may have a bachelor's degree in digitalization and IT operations supplemented with practical experience.
For the sake of communication with IT suppliers and documentation, you must at least be proficient in Danish in writing and speaking. It is a great advantage if you are bilingual in Greenlandic/Danish. You understand technical English.
For qualified applicants, there will be an opportunity for employment as a special consultant, after a specific assessment.
