AC Executive Officer for the security and defense policy area in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

-

About you
We imagine that you have a longer higher education and experience with political decision-making processes. The position requires a strong, committed, and outgoing person who can act and represent Greenland in an international environment. Therefore, you should have a strong personal drive, good communication skills (Greenlandic/Danish/English language skills are an advantage), as well as in-depth knowledge of Greenlandic societal conditions. Concrete experience in handling areas related to defense and security policy or Greenland's foreign affairs in general is an advantage.
With the international attention Greenland is experiencing, the position requires adaptability and flexibility, as the daily routine in the department is busy and changeable. Therefore, we place great emphasis on our employees' willingness to support and help each other in task resolution. Conversely, we offer a trusting work environment where you will have good opportunities for professional sparring and development. In the long term, you should be prepared to be transferred to other areas of responsibility within the department.
You should expect travel activity in connection with the position. Future deployment may be an option for the right applicant.
