Minister Secretary for the Chairman of the Naalakkersuisut Do you have strong organizational skills, political understanding, and a desire to work closely with the top management in Greenland? The Chairman's Department is seeking a dedicated and responsible minister secretary who can ensure effective and professional support for the Chairman of the Naalakkersuisut in a central and trusted role.
Commencement: June 1 or by further agreement.
About the position:
The ministerial secretary acts as a personal assistant to the Naalakkersuisut member and is responsible for ensuring that their daily life functions as optimally as possible. The position involves practical coordination, administrative support, and close collaboration with both political and administrative actors.
You will report directly to the Chairman of the Naalakkersuisut and work closely with the already employed ministerial secretary and the management team in the Chairman's Department.

Tasks: Coordination of the Chairperson's calendar, meetings, and travel activities

Planning and preparation of meetings and business trips, including travel itineraries.

Preparation of talking points, meeting materials, invitations, and press releases

Participation in meetings and travel as needed. Preparation of minutes/notes for meetings without professionals.

Updating of meeting materials and materials for the Inatsisartut sessions, etc.

We expect you to: Have a relevant administrative or social science education

Has experience with communication and social media (highly valued)

Has experience in political service or public administration

About the Chairman's Department:
The Chairman's Department supports the Chairman of the Government of Greenland and the Government in carrying out a number of cross-cutting and strategic functions in self-government. The department consists of the Management Secretariat, the Legal Department, HR Development, the Constitutional Department, and the Department for Government Administration. Additionally, the Digitalization Agency falls under the department. The department works closely with other departments, the Inatsisartut Bureau, and external partners and plays a central role in coordinating the political and administrative leadership in Greenland.
