Communications and Event Coordinator for Niuernermik Ilinniarfik / Greenland Business School. Niuernermik Ilinniarfik / Greenland Business School is a well-established dynamic educational institution under the Government of Greenland, offering a range of programs in close collaboration with businesses and public entities. NI/GBS focuses on new educational programs and development initiatives to strengthen our ambition to attract students and meet the business sector's need for competent workforce. Your tasks: As a communications and event coordinator, you will play a central role in planning and executing the school's communications and events. You will work closely with management, teachers, and external partners, contributing to strengthening GBS's brand and relationships in a Greenlandic educational and business context. Responsibilities include: Planning, coordinating, and executing events (e.g., conferences, open houses, graduations, guest lectures); Developing and executing communication initiatives; Producing content for the website, newsletters, and social media; Press and media handling in collaboration with management; Light graphic work and coordination with external suppliers; Practical and administrative support for events. You will have daily contact with students and staff as well as various external stakeholders and actors, so we emphasize that you have a positive attitude and enjoy building relationships and networks. We expect you to work systematically with plans and be self-driven in executing them. You will be part of the team and report to the deputy head. We desire: You have a relevant higher education in communication, marketing, or event management; Experience in planning and executing events; An eye for telling 'good stories' and creating exciting and creative content and articles; Work structured and independently; You are a creative person with an eye for visual details and passionate about creating engaging content and campaigns that involve the target audience; Proficiency in Greenlandic and Danish, both spoken and written.
