Nutrition Assistant

We are looking for two skilled nutrition assistants for Queen Ingrid's Hospital who can work independently and collaborate with colleagues. The job includes weekend shifts and holidays. We offer a permanent 40-hour position focused on quality food for patients.

We are a well-oiled large kitchen that feeds up to 250 patients at Queen Ingrid's Hospital.

We are a workplace that is constantly evolving, so we need two more skilled nutrition assistants.

There is collaboration between the kitchen and the cafeteria to ensure daily operations.

The cafeteria serves the staff at DIH and has the option to purchase the day's meals.

About the position:

  • We are looking for 2 nutrition assistants for a permanent position of 40 hours per week.
  • There will be weekend work every other weekend.
  • The working hours are between 07:00 - 15:00, with a closing shift from 08:00 - 16:00 about 3 times a month.
  • There will be work on a certain number of holidays.

We are looking for you who:

  • Is trained as a Nutrition Assistant.

We would like you to;

  • Has in-depth knowledge of self-control and can use a computer.
  • Has knowledge of various dietary forms and diets such as dysphagia.
  • Can work independently, but also engage in a positive collaboration with colleagues.
  • Is punctual and physically robust
  • Is quality-conscious about the execution of your tasks.

Housing is assigned according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving and relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional upon a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
