The Government of Greenland is seeking a Tax/Revenue Consultant for the Tax Administration in Maniitsoq. The position involves collections, bookkeeping, and reconciliations. Greenland's Self-Government Tax Administration/Economic Department in the accounting department is seeking a Tax/Excise Consultant in Maniitsoq. A position as a Tax/Excise Consultant is available in the Tax Administration, starting July 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
Organizational placement and the department's tasks:
The position is located in the accounting office of the Finance Department in Maniitsoq.
The accounting office handles collections, bookkeeping of payments and disbursements, reconciliations of debtors, and financial accounts every month.
In addition, the person must perform ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications:
The Tax Agency therefore expects that you are good at independently handling case processing.
Knowledge of the area and legislation as well as understanding of accounting.
You should be service-minded, you enjoy learning new things, and you are not afraid to take on new tasks. In connection with employment, you will be trained in the aforementioned work tasks.
We imagine that you have an office education or a similar administrative education, combined with relevant work experience and good IT skills. You can also work independently, are engaged, stable, and responsible. It would also be an advantage if you are bilingual in Greenlandic/Danish.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and departure travel and moving of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
For an applicant with the right documentable competencies, employment as a special consultant, chief consultant, or senior advisor can take place in accordance with the applicable agreement.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
