Leader for After-School Program

Nuuk International School is an attractive workplace with skilled and dedicated leaders and employees, an engaged group of parents, and not least, many wonderful and diverse children. We are responsible for the education of approximately 200 students, including their participation in the after-school program.

And this is where you come into the picture if you want to be a personnel manager and educational leader.

We are looking for a daily manager for our after-school program NUAN, which hosts the majority of the school's 1st to 4th grade students (about 80 children) and 5-6 employees. You are passionate about leadership and wish to work for an after-school program that thinks across school and after-school care when it comes to education, professional and pedagogical development, play, learning, and well-being.

You will be part of a cohesive management team of six, as the school and after-school program work closely together on the educational task.

Tasks

You will be responsible for personnel management and pedagogical development.

You need to create duty schedules, cover for substitutes, and emphasize the good collaboration between teachers and pedagogues.

You, along with the rest of the management, must help define the educational direction.

You, along with the rest of the management, need to help strengthen the collaboration between the school and NUAN.

You will help shape our outward face: the good stories.

Criminal and Child Certificate

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once we have received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once we have received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the free school with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the applicant from the Police.

Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the applicable agreement between NPK and Nuuk International School. Start date: as soon as possible.
