We are looking for a department head for the after-school programs at Nalunnguarfiup School and Minngortuunnguup School in Qeqqata Municipality. Responsibilities include leadership, communication, administration, parent meetings, and activity planning. We offer professional and personal challenges as well as development opportunities. In Qeqqata Municipality, we are looking for a department head for the after-school programs at Nalunnguarfiup School and Minngortuunnguup School, which are organizationally under Nalunnguarfiup School. The tasks include managing the after-school program, communication with the students, collaboration between the two schools, administration in accordance with legislation, parent meetings, planning activities for the students, and fostering good cooperation among the staff.
Tasks in the leisure scheme include, among other things:

Ensure employees' community and collaboration

Service for students and parents, including coordination of meetings with parents and students.

Ensure correct payroll administration

Flexible work that applies to all employees in both Nalunnguarfiup School and Minngortuunnguup School.

Ensure proper communication

Secure planning of activities

Development and improvement of employees in collaboration with colleagues

Coordination of services for students in grades 1–5

Ensure good conditions for students' well-being

Clear guidelines

Responsibility for safety regulations

The work can sometimes be busy. We are happy to wait for the right candidate with the necessary qualifications. There are currently five employees in the leisure scheme.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary according to the applicable collective agreement. No housing is offered for the position.
Commencement on March 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Criminal record:
The position requires obtaining a criminal record in accordance with the law. Employment can only take place once the municipality has received the criminal record from the police.
