Deputy Manager

We are looking for a Deputy Manager for the integrated daycare institution Apisseq.

Apisseq is an age-integrated institution, with 12 children in each of our 2 nursery rooms and 15 children in each of our 3 kindergarten rooms. In total, there are 69 children. Your daily placement will be in Tuåaarnaq, which is the room with children aged 3-4 years.

Apisseq is open on weekdays from 7 AM to 5 PM.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

A staff housing can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality's properties in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to temporary housing will be offered a temporary rental housing, for which rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the above. The start date is dependent on when there is a staff housing available. A relocation travel allowance and moving expenses are provided in accordance with applicable regulations.
