General Practitioner

Would you like to be the general medicine part of the health team at Qasigiannguit Health Center together with three nurses, assistants, helpers, and porter/rescuers?

Your task will be to collaborate with other staff to provide the best possible health professional service, including health educational efforts.

It is an advantage if you can perform a UL examination. X-rays and blood tests can be taken at the health center.

There is the possibility of "Supervision" on all weekdays. This means telemedicine patient reviews with specialists from DIH (Queen Ingrid's Hospital) in Nuuk with a physician, surgeon, pediatrician, or psychiatrist.

There is close cooperation with DIH in Nuuk, also in that the shifts are shared between the nurses in Qasigiannguit and those from DIH in Nuuk.

Opportunity to combine with employment in Aasiaat at the Regional Hospital, where there are 4-5 doctors. For example, introduction in Aasiaat for 2 weeks – and then a minimum of 2 months in Qasigiannguit.

• A close collaboration with specialists from all specialties at DIH (Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk), as well as the doctors at Aasiaat Regional Hospital.

We are looking for you who:

• Want to make a health educational effort that makes a difference.
• Preferably has a general or internal medical background, and Danish authorization.
• Has at least a couple of years of clinical experience and is eager to become part of Qasigiannguit Health Center.
