Who we are: Siunnersuisut is a dynamic department focused on quality, collaboration, and development. We are 13 dedicated employees working with public assistance, early retirement pensions, and citizen services. As part of Social Services, we engage in broad collaborations both internally within the municipality and externally.

Your tasks: As an employee with us, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself and contribute to the department's development. Tasks include: · Case management and counseling in public assistance, early retirement pensions, and citizen services · Administrative tasks related to case management · Introduction and support for new colleagues in the department · Participation in development tasks and improvements of work processes · Ad hoc tasks where you can influence solutions

We expect you to: · Have a social work education as a social worker, advisory assistant, or equivalent · Be interested in working closely with citizens and contributing to good solutions · Be curious, cooperative, and ready to take responsibility · Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing · Thrive in a busy environment where we help each other · Be positive, approachable, and structured · Master Greenlandic and Danish – an advantage, but not a requirement · Have experience in case management in the field and preferably an aptitude for IT (GetOrganized and AX Prism), though not required

Criminal record: This position is subject to the law requiring a criminal record check. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. Therefore, the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the police.

Salary and employment conditions: Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the current agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization at the time of employment.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing: No staff housing is available for this position.
