If you are looking for new challenges and are prepared to work in a very structured environment with 16 primarily treatment-requiring normally intelligent children distributed across 2 departments, then we may have the position you are looking for.

It is assumed that you are willing to be supervised according to the institution's treatment guidelines.

Meeqqat Illuat's pedagogy is based on:

Empathy, safety, firm and predictable frameworks, where children through continuity and structure together with caring adults in their daily lives, among other things through longer stays in small family-like living units in Godthåbfjorden, are motivated and strengthened to receive social pedagogical treatment with a view to discharge.

You must be prepared to spend 1 week in the fjord at times.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Housing

No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
