Become a prison officer with the Danish Prison and Probation Service. The training lasts 2 years and requires you to be at least 21 years old and have completed primary school. You should be bilingual or willing to learn more Danish/Greenlandic, be mentally resilient, and a team player. Employment as a probationary civil servant with the possibility of staff housing.
It takes 2 years to become a correctional officer and requires:

Terms
There is a relocation allowance if you are employed in a city other than your hometown. There is an option for staff housing in connection with the employment.
You are employed as a civil servant on probation. After completing your training, you will be employed as a civil servant, with the right to a pension.

You need to fill out a special application form. The form is downloaded and sent to krfo@krfo.gl. If your application is considered, you will be invited to a test and an interview. In the test, we will assess your reflective ability and your resilience, and we will talk to you about your motivation to become a correctional officer. You will be guided before the test.
