The Management Secretariat is seeking two senior officers to coordinate tasks in the Department for Housing, Infrastructure, and Outlying Districts. About the position
The Management Secretariat is one of 4 departments in the ministry, which handles departmental tasks within the areas of housing, client role, building authority, infrastructure, and outer districts. The ministry has about 45 employees. The Management Secretariat consists of 8 employees and functions as a staff unit.
The department's tasks include, among other things, coordinating and processing inquiries to the ministry and to the Naalakkersuisut, handling cases to and from the Naalakkersuisut and Inatsisartut, mail, hearings, translations, quality assurance, archiving, as well as project management and development tasks. Additionally, it involves planning and conducting workshops, presentations, and on-the-job training regarding internal instructions, guidelines, work procedures, and manuals, for example, related to case processing, procurement, service, other internal activities, etc. The department is also responsible for the operation, coordination, and further development of the ministry's central IT systems and digital workflows, including user support, system administration, and implementation of new digital solutions.
We are looking for two full-time employees who, in collaboration with the department's staff and the department's management, will contribute to the handling of a central function in coordinating the department's matters as well as servicing the Naalakkersuisut. The position involves close collaboration with other employees across the department.
You will be an indispensable colleague in our team, and your tasks will be organized based on the skills and experiences you bring with you. It is therefore not expected that each employee will handle all the described tasks; the tasks will be distributed between the two associates to ensure an appropriate and balanced division of labor.

That you master Greenlandic and Danish at a high level in both writing and speaking, and English at least at a conversational level.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
