Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk is seeking an administrative management coordinator for a newly created position starting on December 1, 2026. The position involves responsibility for coordination, quality development, and communication in the psychiatric field. Emphasis is placed on good collaboration skills and strategic insight.
We are looking for an administrative management coordinator
An administrative management coordinator is sought for an exciting, versatile, and dynamic position in the psychiatric area at Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk, starting on December 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
The position is newly created, and you have the opportunity to shape your tasks and areas of responsibility to some extent.
You will be part of a management team, primarily with the Chief Nurse, Chief Physician, and secondarily with our management team; consisting of the head nurse for the department and outpatient clinic and Chief Social Worker.
The leadership team is responsible for coordination, quality development, monitoring, and optimization of daily operations. Therefore, we are looking for a person with strategic insight, good communication skills, and collaboration abilities.
We work in a flat organization, where there is often a short distance from ideas to action. We value initiative, service orientation, and self-management, but require a holistic understanding, employee involvement, and consideration of the frameworks and the existing organizational structure.
The area consists of a psychiatric department, psychiatric outpatient clinic, outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry, BU – and Adult Psychologists, and psychiatric secretariat.

Job tasks:
- Newsletters for staff
- D4 guidelines – secretary for psychiatric area management and the management team in the development of management workflows. Updating existing workflows
- Reviewing mail and emails, meeting calendar for the area, and updates
- Helping to create an overview
- Communication and assisting in bringing together the psychiatric area – through information and overview
- Legal knowledge may be an advantage
- Preparation, onboarding, and planning of introductions for doctors, psychologists, appointments in the outpatient clinic, and all middle management positions
- Drafting consultation responses in collaboration with psychiatric area management, including § 37 questions
- Consultation regarding the Health Sector's strategies in relation to the individual department's strategy
- Monitoring and evaluation of initiatives related to the National Health Strategy
- Quality assurance of the implementation of new initiatives
- Functioning as a secretary at relevant meetings
- Updating various statistics
- Preparing job postings, invitations to theme days, training, anniversaries, etc.
- Phone coverage and checking emails in the absence of Regional Management
- Overview and input for the annual wheel
- Strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration between Area Management and Health Management
- Various ad hoc tasks

We seek a candidate with a relevant academic education at the master's level in the social or health sciences. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of Greenlandic conditions and understand the cultural challenges present in a multicultural workplace.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Candidates who possess additional qualifications beyond those specified above, such as relevant diploma or master's degrees, may be entitled to additional remuneration in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the company's guidelines.
