MAKO Nanoq, Avannaata Municipality is looking for a kitchen assistant for employment 01.11.2026 or by further agreement.
The kitchen assistant's immediate supervisor is the daycare manager at MAKO Nanoq
Work and responsibilities:
- Work in accordance with the institution's rules and objectives
- To take care of the children in a safe and responsible manner
- Collaboration between different teams and departments
- Collaboration with parents
- Miscellaneous work and prioritization in relation to tasks

- Physically and mentally healthy as well as outgoing and cheerful
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the negotiating organization at the time of commencement.
No housing is provided for the position.
Employment is subject to a satisfactory child certificate and public criminal record, which will be obtained by the employer from the National Police with the applicant's consent.
