Siunnersuisut is a department in motion – focusing on quality, collaboration, and development. We are 14 dedicated employees working with public assistance, early retirement, and citizen services. Your tasks:

As an employee with us, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself – and contribute to the development of the department. The tasks include, among others:

·Case processing and advice within public assistance, early retirement, and citizen services

·Administrative tasks related to case processing

·Introduction and support for new colleagues in the department

·Participation in development tasks and improvements of workflows

·Ad hoc tasks where you can put your stamp on the solutions

We expect that you:

·Have a social work education as a social worker, social assistant, advisory assistant, or equivalent

·Have an interest in working closely with citizens and contributing to good solutions

·Are curious, cooperative, and ready to take responsibility

·Can communicate clearly both orally and in writing

·Thrive in a daily life where it can be busy, but where we help each other

·Are positive, welcoming, and structured

·Master Greenlandic and Danish – an advantage, but not a requirement

·Advantage with case processing in the area and preferably flair for IT (GetOrganized and AX prism), but not a requirement Preferably have flair for IT or willingness to learn new systems

Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probationary period.

Housing:

No staff housing can be assigned for the position.
