Medical Secretary / Health Administrative Coordinator or Administrative Employee wanted for a maternity cover in the psychiatric area, Queen Ingrid's Hospital, Nuuk.
Our skilled medical secretary will go on maternity leave in December. Therefore, we are now seeking a rarely offered position in the psychiatric specialty in Nuuk. We are looking for a trained medical secretary / health administrative coordinator or a healthcare professional, where you will have a unique opportunity for thorough training, in close collaboration with experienced colleagues, with whom you will share an office.

Daily tasks include ensuring patient pathways by:
- Writing medical notes, referrals, supervision, guarantees, medical certificates
- Transcribing/requesting and registering examinations
- Expediting discharge summaries
- Handling internal/external mail, emails, scanning various documents for records
- Registering patient data in accordance with applicable guidelines
- Answering phone calls and conveying inquiries
- Coordinating legal tasks, in collaboration with relevant partnerships, both externally and internally
- Registering and reporting coercion to the National Health Authority
- Managing patient pathways for both inpatients and outpatients
- Professional service to patients and relatives, including establishing contact with relevant professionals
- Obtaining information, possibly from external instances
- Advising on requests for access to information, etc.
- Co-responsible for the introduction of new employees
We are looking for you:
- Are a trained medical secretary / health administrative coordinator or have another relevant administrative professional background
- Who is comfortable working in EPJ and has knowledge of COSMIC (Training will take place if you are not familiar with COSMIC).
- It is an advantage to master multiple languages.
- Are flexible and adaptable – a team player and someone who is good at solving tasks independently.
- Can remain calm, even when things move quickly
- Are reliable, as it contributes to creating a good collaborative environment

- The Psychiatric Secretariat is a broad professional workplace, where we work with all psychiatric pathways.
- We are organizationally placed as part of the Psychiatric area at Dr. Ingrid's Hospital, which, in addition to the Secretariat, also consists of the departments: District Psychiatry (Ikaarsaarfik and Pakkaluaq), reserve doctor outpatient clinic, senior doctor outpatient clinic, Ward A1, Sana-Social, all of which have a nationwide function.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.
Salary and Employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
For Administrative Employee:
Employment conditions will depend on educational background.
