A central and challenging leadership position in a growing organization, where you will have a significant influence on the development of substance abuse treatment in Greenland. You will be part of a dedicated and interdisciplinary work environment based in Nuuk.

We are looking for you who:

  • Has a relevant education in economics, administration, or similar.
  • Has documented experience in personnel management and acts as a visible leader who can support employees with both professional and personal issues.
  • Has experience with process management and implementation of strategies.
  • Can work systematically with both short- and long-term goals, maintain an overview, and delegate tasks.
  • Possesses strong communication skills in writing and speech.

Allorfik is a unit under Greenland's Health Service, SHV, for substance abuse treatment and also has a responsibility for early intervention for pregnant families. Allorfik consists of a national knowledge center in Nuuk and 5 decentralized treatment centers in the country's 5 municipalities. We also cover the area of gambling addiction and are continuously expanding our services to include children and young people. Likewise, Allorfik collaborates with a private provider to offer citizens alternative treatment pathways.

Your tasks

As deputy manager, you will have overall responsibility for the administrative and financial management in close collaboration with the rest of Allorfik's management. Your tasks will include, among other things:

  • Personnel management: Handle daily personnel management in collaboration with the center manager and the HR department in SHV.
  • Organizational support: Assist the local treatment centers in their treatment work, including developing effective business processes and work procedures.
  • Financial management: Ensure budgeting, budget follow-up, and general financial management in collaboration with the Finance Department.
  • Collaboration and networking: Manage contact with external partners, including private treatment providers, municipal authorities, and professional working groups.
  • Data and analysis: Assist with the collection and analysis of data for the Greenlandic National Substance Abuse Treatment Database as well as the assessment and treatment processes.
  • Activities and communication: Assist in planning conferences, workshops, and training courses.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that the employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
