Psychiatric Area is seeking an interpreter for employment from September 1 or by agreement
About the position
- Working hours 08:00 - 16:00, where you report to the psychiatric secretariat where the day's interpreting tasks are coordinated
- Interpreting during assessment and therapeutic conversations in the psychiatric department and in outpatient settings
- Written translations as needed
- Together with the other staff, contribute to providing the best possible service to patients and relatives
- Minor administrative tasks as well as assisting in calling patients
- Service task:
- There may be various minor service tasks during the workday
You will report in your daily work to the head of the interpreting function.

We are looking for you who:
- Are a trained interpreter or have experience with interpreting
- Preferably with experience in oral interpreting tasks in consultations for doctors/psychologists
- Are service-minded, flexible, and accommodating
- Good at establishing a safe relationship
- Flexible and adaptable in a multidisciplinary department

Housing
Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
