Arctic Contractor Apprentices

Do you want to learn a trade – and be part of a large harbor project in Nuuk?

KJ Greenland A/S is looking for Arctic contractor apprentices for our new department in Nuuk, where you will have the opportunity to take your education in the midst of an exciting and extensive harbor project.

As an apprentice, you will become part of the team on the construction site and gain practical experience with machinery and construction work. You will learn the trade alongside experienced colleagues who will guide you well and give you the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility.

As a machine operator apprentice, you will among other things:

• Learn to operate various construction machines
• Participate in earth, gravel, and construction work
• Learn about daily inspections and maintenance of machines
• Work with safety and correct use of machines
• Collaborate with machine operators, craftsmen, and other colleagues on the project
• Gain practical experience working on a larger construction project

We are looking for you who:

• Wants to train in the contractor and machine field
• Is curious and ready to learn new things
• Shows up reliably and takes responsibility for your tasks
• Has an interest in large machines and construction work
• Likes to work outdoors and be part of a team
• Focuses on safety and takes good care of both yourself and your colleagues

You do not need to know everything in advance. The most important thing is that you are eager to learn the trade and are ready to take responsibility for your education.
