Building structure apprentices

Do you want to learn the concrete trade – and be part of a large harbor project in Nuuk?

KJ Greenland A/S is looking for building construction apprentices for our new department in Nuuk. Here you will have the opportunity to take your education as part of a strong professional team while gaining practical experience from our new harbor project.

As a building construction apprentice, you will become part of the everyday life on the construction site and will work closely with our experienced concrete workers. You will have the opportunity to learn the trade in practice and work on large-scale concrete tasks while continuously developing your skills and taking on more responsibility.

As a building construction apprentice, you will among other things:

• Work with formwork, reinforcement, and pouring
• Prepare for different types of concrete work
• Participate in finishing and quality assurance of concrete
• Learn to work from drawings, measurements, and instructions
• Learn the correct use of tools and materials
• Collaborate with experienced concrete workers and other trades on the construction site
• Gain experience with safety, quality, and good craftsmanship in practice

We are looking for you who:

• Are in the process of or wish to start the education as a building constructor
• Have a desire to learn and become skilled in the concrete trade
• Are curious and ready to learn new things
• Show up consistently and take responsibility for your education
• Enjoy practical and physical work
• Thrive on being part of a team
• Focus on safety and take good care of both yourself and your colleagues

You do not need to know everything in advance. The most important thing is that you have the desire to learn the trade, take responsibility for your education, and contribute to the good collaboration on the construction site.
