Arctic construction craftsman apprentices

KJ Greenland A/S is looking for apprentices in the education to become an Arctic construction craftsman for our new department in Nuuk. Here you will have the opportunity to take your education as part of a strong professional team while gaining practical experience from our new harbor project.

As an apprentice, you will be part of the daily life on the construction site and will work alongside experienced craftsmen. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in various areas of construction and civil engineering and will be continuously introduced to new tasks and more responsibilities.

As an apprentice, you will among other things:

• Participate in various construction and civil engineering tasks
• Work with different materials and craft tasks
• Gain practical experience with concrete, formwork, and other relevant tasks
• Learn to use tools and materials correctly and safely
• Work from drawings, measurements, and instructions
• Collaborate with different professional groups on the construction site
• Learn about quality, safety, and good craftsmanship in practice

We are looking for you who:

• Is in the process of or wants to start the education to become an Arctic construction craftsman
• Is eager to learn and develop within the construction and civil engineering field
• Is curious and ready to try different tasks
• Is stable and takes responsibility for your education
• Enjoys practical and physical work
• Thrives on working with others
• Focuses on safety and takes good care of both yourself and your colleagues

You do not need to know everything in advance. The most important thing is that you are eager to learn a craft, take responsibility for your education, and become more skilled along the way.
