The Qinngorput Leisure Club is looking for a leader to develop the leisure environment for children and young people. The position requires relevant pedagogical education and experience in leadership. You will be responsible for implementing new structures and activities in the club.

A leisure club with various activities, where you and the users will create the framework for future activities.
The leisure club shares premises with AKO Miniklubben.
As a leader, you can help shape the interior, culture, and pedagogical direction of the club.
The club provides a framework for leisure activities for children and young people aged 9–21 years.
Opening hours and structure
Your working hours will primarily be from 15:00 – 23:00. Otherwise, arrangements can be made for changes.
Your profile – what we are looking for
We are looking for a leader who:
·Has relevant pedagogical education (e.g., educator, teacher, or pedagogical assistant, etc.)
·Has experience with leadership
·Is clear, stable
·Has a desire to work pedagogically and strategically with the well-being and development of children and young people
·Can develop and structure pedagogical activities in collaboration with the staff and the club council and management
·Is familiar with children's rights, reporting obligations, and professional boundaries
·Is mentally robust, action-oriented, and can stand firm in challenging situations
·Has competencies in IT and administration – and can participate in financial management and planning
·Is bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement
You will be responsible for:
·Developing and implementing a new structure and vision for the club
·Being the daily and strategic leader for Leisure Club Inneruulat and collaborating with management
·Preparing annual plans, holding professional discussions, and supporting collaboration across clubs
·Strengthening team collaboration and introducing new pedagogical working methods
·Being a safe and unifying face for both children, parents, and staff

Criminal and Child Certificate:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police and the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
Housing:
No staff housing can be provided for the position.
