Pedagogue for the QUPANUK Nursing Home in Sisimiut

The position is 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.

Your primary tasks:

• As a pedagogue, you will have a central role in the operation of the nursing home and work closely with both management and staff. Your tasks will include:
• Hiring and dismissing drivers, cleaning, and laundry staff
• Introduction of new employees
• Payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees
• Maintenance and minor repairs at the nursing home
• Moving lighter furniture and beds in the house
• Ordering, receiving, and distributing supplies
• Handling orders from the departments' warehouses
• Participation in interdisciplinary meetings, internal/external collaboration meetings, and relevant courses
• Involvement in internal and external working groups or projects related to the area

About you

• Have a driver's license
• Have experience with administrative tasks
• Have management experience
• Have knowledge of IT and systems

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between Naalakkersuisut and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment is subject to a 3-month probation period.

The position is covered by the law requiring a criminal record check. Employment can only take effect once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
