The Puilasoq Children's Home in Qasigiannguit is seeking two educators for employment starting April 1, 2026. The position requires an educational background and involves working with children aged 0-17. We are looking for an independent and resilient person who can work in a multicultural team and create a safe environment for the children.
The position as a pedagogue or similar education at the Children's Home Puilasoq under the Municipality of Qeqertalik in Qasigiannguit is available for employment on April 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
The position is administratively located in the town of Qasigiannguit, where the director of the Puilasoq Children's Home will be your immediate supervisor.
The children are between 0-17 years old and are not children requiring treatment.

Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the negotiating organization.
Criminal and child certificate:
This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police, as well as the criminal certificate from the police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
Housing:
Housing can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality's properties in Greenland. If permanent housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to temporary housing will be offered a temporary accommodation, for which rent, utilities, etc. will be paid in accordance with the above. The start date depends on when a staff accommodation is available. A relocation travel allowance and moving expenses for household goods are provided in accordance with applicable regulations.
