The Social Authority is seeking a process consultant to strengthen and develop the effort with family counseling for vulnerable children and youth in Greenland. The position involves teaching, facilitation, and process support in collaboration with municipalities, as well as travel activities. The Danish Social Authority is looking for a process consultant who is passionate about the family area. Do you want to help strengthen and develop the Social Authority's efforts to implement the Family Group Conferencing method for vulnerable children/youth and their families in Greenland? Are you good at teaching, facilitating, and providing process support, and do you focus on the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
About the position
The position is located in the Family Council Consultation Team, which works to support the municipal initiative of family council consultation in the child and youth sector across the country.
As a process consultant, you will work independently with teaching, facilitation, and process support in connection with the implementation of family council meetings around the coast of Greenland. The work will take place in close collaboration with the municipalities, particularly the family centers, and will involve a significant amount of travel. Furthermore, it is important to strengthen the municipalities' anchoring of the family council method through the establishment of local initiative leader and initiative-taking networks as well as a teaching corps.

The tasks include, among other things, the preparation of framework agreements for educational and implementation processes in collaboration with the municipalities.

Development, adaptation, and delivery of teaching materials

Planning and conducting teaching courses

Facilitation and support in the municipalities' implementation process

Ongoing supervision of initiators and coordinators

Be involved in ensuring registration as well as participating in evaluation processes.

Edit and write texts for our website, prepare brochures, etc.

Participate in the planning and facilitation of meetings, workshops, and theme days within the family area.

About you
Our ideal candidate has a professionally relevant background in, for example, family therapy or counseling, as well as experience working in a development and project-oriented manner.

We imagine that you can recognize yourself in most of the points below: Social worker, social educator, or similar with further education in systemic family therapy or similar therapeutic education.

Experience with systemic family therapy and preferably family counseling.

Experience with teaching, facilitating, and implementing preferably from consulting tasks in the municipalities.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
For an applicant with the right documentable competencies, employment as a special consultant, chief consultant, or senior advisor may occur in accordance with the applicable agreement.
Criminal and child certificate
The Social Authority reserves the right to obtain a criminal record and child certificate. We therefore point out that the employment can only take effect once the Social Authority has received a satisfactory child certificate from the National Police as well as a criminal record from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the Social Authority with written consent from the individual, while the criminal record must be obtained by the individual themselves through the Police.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
