The school Gammeqarfik is looking for 5 teachers.
Gammeqarfik is a school with about 425 students and 42 teachers and operates in departmental divisions.
Employment from March 1, 2025, or by agreement.
Positions filled by teachers must be able to teach in:
1 teacher for the youngest grade in subjects (class teacher function for 3rd grade): for all subjects.
2 teachers for the middle level in subjects: (class teacher function for 4th grade): Greenlandic, Danish, English, and Natural Sciences
2 teachers for the senior level in subjects: all subjects (10th grade teacher function) and Language subjects: Danish, English, and Natural Sciences

Employment will take place according to the agreement between the Government of Greenland and the Union of Teachers in Greenland, IMAK. Applicants coming from a civil servant position will retain the right to this form of employment.
Criminal and child certificate:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal record from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
Housing:
A staff housing option will be available for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the properties of the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality in Greenland. If a permanent staff residence cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to a vacant residence will be offered a temporary vacant residence, for which A-tax will be paid for benefits in kind in accordance with applicable legislation.
OR The start date is dependent on when a staff accommodation is available. A relocation travel allowance and moving expenses for personal belongings will be provided in accordance with applicable regulations.
A staff apartment must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
