The daycare institution "Kanaartaq" is designed for 64 children aged 0 to 6 years, distributed across 4 rooms. The nursery has space for 24 children. The kindergarten has space for 40 children. Information can be obtained from:

Are you the one who wants to work at the Kanaartaq Daycare Center and help develop the children?

The department manager reports to the leader. Must motivate colleagues in the building and help lift various tasks.

Versatile and good at planning.

Work and areas of responsibility:

You will be jointly responsible for compliance with the Inatsisartut Act No. 62 of November 20, 202 regarding pedagogical development offers for preschool children, as well as the Qeqqata Municipal Council's children and youth policy, which can be found on the Qeqqata Municipality's website, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Qualifications:

• Educated as a pedagogue/educated as a social assistant
• You have experience in the daycare sector.
• You can collaborate with different instances.
• You are familiar with the legislation.
• You can have a close collaboration with the leader.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to free travel and relocation of personal belongings, are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Self-Government, Greenlandic municipalities, and the Nunatsinni Perorsaasut Kattuffiat NPK.

Housing can be allocated, for which payment is made according to applicable rules.
