Sous Chef for Nukariit

Nukariit is looking for a skilled and dedicated sous chef.

Nukariit is an integrated institution with 5 nursery rooms and 3 kindergarten rooms.

The institution has a standard of a total of 120 children.

The staffing norm is 28 and is distributed with 3 in each room for 8 rooms, 2 kitchen assistants, 1 "floater," and a leader.

The opening hours are between 07:00 – 17:00.

Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Job content: We are looking for a deputy manager, preferably with experience in administration, who can handle a range of tasks in close collaboration with leadership teams.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police and the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
