The health center in Uummannaq serves the citizens of Uummannaq and the 5 surrounding settlements. The total population is approximately 2465. The health center in Uummannaq has its own staff of service personnel and is part of the overall hospital services in the Avannaa region.
You are involved in the daily management.
You will solve your work tasks in close collaboration with the local management in Uummannaq, the regional management in Region Avannaa, and the health system's finance and planning department.

The tasks include, among other things:

Management of the daily operations of the health center's administrative and operational units (kitchen, cleaning, laundry, technical department, and administration, shared email, etc.)

Ongoing bookkeeping of vouchers, invoices, bills, etc.

Ensure follow-up and reconciliation of various accounts in collaboration with Ilulissat and Nuuk.

Preparation of payroll for staff who are paid bi-weekly, as well as checking payroll payments for the monthly salaried staff.

Responsible for inventory and initiation of repairs on buildings, etc.

Arrangement of patient transport and accommodation

Ensure the connection with the associated units in the villages.
You have good communication skills and a sense of structure and IT.

You are able to work independently, coordinate, delegate, gather, and communicate.

It is important that you have experience in leading smaller groups of staff, as you will be responsible for the daily management of the administrative and operational units.

As many of your tasks involve financial and accounting management, it is crucial that you also have knowledge and experience in this area.

You have good communication skills as well as a sense of structure and IT, as many of your tasks are performed in Excel and accounting systems XAL and IRIS.

Finally, we would like you to have a relevant educational background from which you can contribute with professional insight and knowledge.

Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
