Recreation Club Sukorsit for children and youth

The leisure club for children and youth Sukorsit in Sisimiut is looking for a club leader.

The leisure club is an offer for children and young people open to 2nd-10th grades in public schools and for young people between 13-21 years in the evenings on weekdays as well as Friday and Saturday, located at Karl Sivertsenip aqq. 14, formerly Nutaraq. The purpose of the leisure club is to work with children and young people, where the design of activities is developed based on their interests.

The leader's areas of responsibility include, among other things:

• Responsible for the design of the leisure club, not least in connection with educational tasks.
• Organizing events for children and young people based on the youth organization "Sukorseq" in collaboration with other children and young people on the coast.
• To make the leisure club an attractive place to be by providing inspiration and activities for children and young people.
• Complete various administrative tasks on time.
• To manage the leisure club's finances in close collaboration with the Leisure Inspector.

Qualifications:

• You have a pedagogical education or similar.
• You have worked with people or similar for several years and therefore have experience in the field.
• You can work responsibly and independently, can achieve goals, have willpower, and maintain an overview.
• You are flexible regarding different tasks.
• You are cooperative, have good skills, a positive attitude, and the strength to handle various challenges.
• You are quick to learn and flexible in working variably.
• You have knowledge of administrative tasks.

Opening hours in Sukorsit:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday for 2nd-10th grades: 10:00 AM - 4:45 PM

Monday - Thursday for teenagers and young adults (13-21 years): 7:00 PM – 9:45 PM

Thursday for children: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Friday and Saturday, dance for elementary school students: 4:00 PM – 6:45 PM

Friday and Saturday for teenagers and young people (13-21 years): 8:00 PM – 11:45 PM

Salary and employment conditions.

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with applicable agreements between the Self-Government, S.I.K., and N.P.K.

Housing

Housing can be provided, for which a deposit and rent are paid according to the applicable rules at any given time, as well as free travel for relocation and moving of personal belongings - and after at least 3 years of employment - travel and moving of personal belongings upon termination according to applicable rules.
