MUKU is an integrated institution located in Nuussuaq. MUKU is designed for 72 children. There is 1 nursery group with 12 children and 3 kindergarten groups, each with 20 children.

The staffing norm is 15, which includes the leader, the deputy manager, the department head, 2 educators, 4 child/social workers, 4 assistants, and two kitchen staff.

MUKU is open from 07:00 to 17:00. The position, which is a full-time position, reports to the head of MUKU, Administration for Children, Family, and School / Daycare.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
