Department leader in the Day Center at the Neriusaaq Nursing Home. The position involves planning and organizing daily operations, work schedule planning, and activities for residents. If you want to provide residents and users with a safe and meaningful existence, there is now a vacant position as Day Center Manager available every day of the week.
Neriusaaq is a nursing home that was inaugurated in 2008, featuring beautiful lounges and lovely rooms. The house is divided into 6 sections, each with a shared living room and its own tea kitchen. The staff collaborates across all sections. We emphasize creating a safe and homely environment without an institutional feel, in an open and respectful collaboration with residents and their relatives.
We have 44 residents with different needs for care and support around the clock.
Here, the focus is on dignity, presence, and a good everyday life for each resident with shared values and goals that ensure continuous development in the home.
The tasks and areas of responsibility are as follows:

Planning and organization of Neriusaaq's day center daily operations.

Work schedule planning for staff as well as vacation planning.

Ensure monthly planning, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual planning of activities, ensure the plans are implemented.

Special days and holidays planning for activities in Day Center (Christmas tree dance, Easter, Carnival, etc.)

To be the coordinator for our annual major event Neriusaaq Winter Games.

Secure activities and employment materials are suitable for users, e.g. for users with disabilities and other conditions that are necessary for users to be able to participate in the Day Center's offerings.
Qualifications:

You are trained as a social and health care helper.

You are good at initiating and motivating.

You are adaptable.

Preferably in Greenlandic.

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Government of Greenland and SIK.
