We are seeking an experienced specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for the Psychiatric Department at Queen Ingrid's Hospital. You will be responsible for the child and adolescent psychiatric specialist function and collaborate with a dedicated team. We are currently seeking an experienced specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our team at the Psychiatric Department, Queen Ingrid's Hospital, with employment as soon as possible. As the functionally responsible chief physician, you will be responsible for managing the child and adolescent psychiatric specialist function and collaborating closely with the dedicated team in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

We are looking for you who:

Is a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry: With experience and competencies in the field.

Works flexibly and independently: Has the ability to handle varied tasks and challenges within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Possesses good collaboration skills: Can work effectively and positively with colleagues across different professional groups.

Has experience with the assessment of children and young people within the healthcare system. A deep understanding of the assessment process will be an additional advantage.
Your primary tasks will include:

Management of assessment and diagnostic investigation: Responsibility for ensuring a quick and accurate diagnosis of children and adolescents with psychiatric challenges.

Responsibility for treatment: Collaboration with child and adolescent psychologists on planning, organizing, and coordinating assessment and treatment work.

Teaching and supervision: Active participation in educational culture and guidance of psychologists, doctors, and staff in the field.

Contribute to cross-organizational collaboration: Ensure coordination and continuity in patient pathways, as well as advice and support during admissions and interdisciplinary situations.

Administrative tasks: Patient triage, responses, work time reporting, and other relevant administrative work.

Participation in meetings and conferences: Active participation in meeting forums and conferences related to Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
