Medico is a department under 'Buildings and Facilities' that purchases, replaces, services, and maintains medical technical equipment in Greenland's healthcare system. The workplace is Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk, with travel activities throughout Greenland. We are looking for a technical background, preferably with experience in medical equipment.
Medico is an independent department under the staff function "Buildings and Facilities," which purchases, replaces, services, and maintains medical technical equipment in the Greenlandic Health Service. Medico is physically located in Nuuk, but technicians have a significant amount of travel activity.
The Medico team services Queen Ingrid's Hospital and the rest of the healthcare system in Greenland. You will have your primary workplace at Queen Ingrid's Hospital, where you will be part of a team of 6 employees.

We are looking for you who:

Has a technical background, where experience with medical equipment is an advantage but not a requirement. This can include, but is not limited to; electrician, precision mechanic, technician, or of course, biomedical technician.

Has the courage for travel activity when there is a need at one of the many regional hospitals, health centers.

Has good collaboration skills, especially in communication.

Greenlandic language skills are an advantage but not a requirement.

Housing is allocated according to the rules in the Greenlandic Health Service in force at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that the employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
