A key position with global responsibility

This is reflected in our HR work, where you will play a central role in developing initiatives that both strengthen the business and create value for the community – locally and globally.
As Head of Global HR Development, you will be responsible for developing and driving our overall HR development efforts across Royal Greenland's locations in Greenland, Europe, and North America.
You will become part of the HR leadership team and report directly to the EVP of HR & Communication. At the same time, you will have managerial responsibility for a team of 5 employees with different areas of expertise within HR development.
The position is located at Royal Greenland's headquarters in Nuuk – in the midst of a company where Greenlandic culture and values meet international perspectives.
Your areas of responsibility
You will have overall responsibility for, among other things:
Leadership development program for the entire group
Talent development and succession planning
· Learning & development initiatives
· Well-being surveys and follow-up on engagement
· Performance and development processes
The company's educational initiatives
· The working environment area
Development of HR programs and tools for the entire group
Support for the business's strategic development through HR initiatives
You will work closely with both HR Operations and HR Business Partnering to ensure that our HR initiatives create real value throughout the organization.
Who are you?
We imagine that you:
· Has solid experience in HR development, organizational development, or people & culture
· Has experience in driving HR development initiatives for larger and complex organizations
· Is strong both strategically and operationally
· Has experience in managing specialists and/or HR teams
Can navigate safely in culturally complex environments
· Is structured, unifying, and creates momentum in tasks and projects
· Is used to collaborating with senior leaders and creating followership
· Has a relevant educational background in HR, communication, organizational development, or similar
At Royal Greenland, Greenlandic, Danish, English, and a number of other languages are used. Strong language skills are an advantage.
