We are seeking a well-qualified and service-minded station manager for the many challenging tasks of the control at the Regional Office in Nuuk. The office consists of a department with 8 employees, where the position is located. The main tasks include coordination of the office's monitoring, surveillance, and control of Greenlandic fishing and hunting in close collaboration with GFJK's management.

Qualifications Fishing and hunting inspector training is an advantage

Experiences in fishing and hunting

Relevant management experience is an advantage.

Good knowledge of laws and regulations in the field of fishing, trapping, and hunting.

Knowledge of GFJK's procedures and reporting system is an advantage.

You can work independently and are decisive, even when things move quickly.

You are stable and have a good overview.

You have good collaboration skills with colleagues and partners.

You are mature, flexible, and can work under pressure.

You must be able to speak and write Greenlandic and Danish. Good English skills are an advantage.

Work tasks Management of the regional office in Nuuk, including planning of daily control tasks.

Planning of control campaigns in collaboration with GFJK's management

Administrative tasks, including responsibility for maintenance and repair of materials and equipment.

Participates in the daily shift on equal terms with the employees.

Participation in various working groups in the Department and GFJK on control and risk analyses.

Hearing party for new rules and legislation.

Local contact with municipal authorities and fishing and hunting organizations.
The working hours will be variable, and shifts will be scheduled monthly in advance. You must be prepared to work at all times of the day and on all days of the week.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and departure travel and moving of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
