About the Chairman's Department
The Naalakkersuisut constitutes the highest leadership of Greenland's Self-Government. The department handles a number of cross-cutting functions across the other departments of the Self-Government. The Office of the Chairman consists of the following units: the Management Secretariat, the Office for Government Affairs, the Legal Department, the Constitutional Department, and HR Development.
The position is organizationally placed in the Management Secretariat.
Work tasks

As an office assistant, you will play a central role in the daily operations of the secretariat. Your primary tasks will include: Serving the Naalakkersuisut, including the process regarding agendas and minutes.

Financial management and administrative tasks

Travel bookings and other coordination tasks

Selected case processing tasks

Assist in relation to official visits and events.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving and relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
For an applicant with the right documentable competencies, employment as a special consultant, chief consultant, or senior advisor can occur in accordance with the applicable agreement.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
