Health Assistant

If you want to provide residents with a safe and meaningful existence, there is now a vacant position as a health assistant with varying shifts around the clock and on all days of the week.

Neriusaaq is a nursing home that was inaugurated in 2008, with beautiful lounges and lovely rooms. The house is divided into 3 departments.

We emphasize creating a safe and homely environment without an institutional feel in an open and respectful collaboration with residents and their relatives.

We have 43 residents with different needs for care and support around the clock and one respite place.

Here, the focus is on dignity, presence, and a good everyday life for each resident with shared values and goals that ensure continuous development in the home.

The tasks and areas of responsibility are as follows:

• Basic care and nursing tasks as well as practical assistance.
• Support for resident activities.
• Guidance of students.
• Information / communication between residents and relatives.

Qualifications:

• You are trained as a health helper/social helper.
• You are good at initiating and motivating.
• You are adaptable.
• Preferably in Greenlandic.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Government of Greenland and SIK.

The position can be assigned to housing.
