Technical Employee

The technical department at Queen Ingrid's Hospital is seeking a technical employee for the operation and maintenance of technical installations and buildings. Tasks vary depending on your background but may include servicing heating systems, troubleshooting machines, repairs, and electrical tasks. We offer a varied workday and opportunities for further education.

The technical department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the technical installations and buildings at Queen Ingrid's Hospital.

Tasks will vary depending on your background, but will also be interdisciplinary.

As our new colleague, your tasks could be, for example:

  • Inspect and service the heating system.
  • Perform troubleshooting on machines and other technical installations.
  • Various repairs as well as hanging of cabinets, pictures, and other items.
  • Replacement of light sources and other electrical tasks, if the competencies are available.
  • Participate in the technical on-call arrangement in the long term.

  • Your professional background can be many; plumbing, electrician, carpenter, blacksmith, or have a corresponding relevant education.

  • Is responsible and service-minded.

Housing

Housing is allocated according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and departure travel and moving of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional upon a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
