As a professional coordinator, you will be employed in an AC officer position if you have less than 3 years of experience in professional coordination; with 3 years of experience or more, you will be employed as a Special Consultant. You will be responsible for the professional management and coordination of the daily task resolution of Study Services in collaboration with colleagues and the Head of Studies, who has overall responsibility for the operation of Study Services. You will report to the Head of Studies.
The position is available for occupancy on August 1, 2026, or as soon as possible by agreement. The working hours are 40 hours per week.
Your tasks:

Professional management of study services' daily operational tasks

Coordination and management of the administration of students' educational pathways - from admission to graduation.

Manage and coordinate complaint cases
-
The development of work processes and case handling
-
Preparation of guidelines
-
Administration and guidance regarding exams, educational support, and students' travel

Administration and guidance regarding other operational tasks
-
Assist the Head of Studies with development tasks, interpretation of legislation, analysis tasks, etc.

Sparring partner for the Head of Studies

Ad hoc tasks
Qualifications:
-
Higher education, preferably a law degree or another relevant master's degree

Experience in case management, preferably within law, as well as extensive knowledge of IT systems.

Speaks Greenlandic at a native level, as well as Danish and English.

Experience from a similar position is an advantage.

The tasks of the Joint Administration include: student administration, personnel administration, servicing the board and the Academic Council, as well as other service functions for the university's staff and students. The Joint Administration is also responsible for the building operations of Ilimmarfik.
Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
