In our team, your role will be important for ensuring that applicants can find the correct information and that our digital workflows function clearly and efficiently.
About the position
The Expedition Office under the Department of Nature, Environment, Energy and Research manages applications for expeditions and travel in remote areas of Greenland. This includes, among other things, crossing the Ice Sheet and other tourist activities, cruises in the National Park in North and East Greenland, and research activities.
We are experiencing increased activity and a need for clear information and well-functioning digital solutions. Therefore, we are looking for an employee who can support the work with our website and application portal.
The position primarily involves the maintenance, structuring, and improvement of existing digital solutions, not programming or development from scratch.
You will be part of the daily operations, where you help ensure that information is up-to-date, clear, and useful for both national and international applicants.
The position is approximately 10 hours per week.
Your tasks

You will work with IT-related, administrative, and communicative tasks, including: updating and maintaining the Expedition Office's website https://expeditionsgreenland.gl/

structure pages, content, and guides so that they are easy to find and understand

ensure that links, documents, and forms work correctly

improve usability and overview for applicants

assist with practical tasks in the application portal

test user flow and identify errors or ambiguities

set up, proofread, and ensure the quality of web content

organize digital files, templates, and guidelines

contribute to ongoing improvements of digital workflows

solve ad hoc tasks within website, IT, and digital administration

No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
