Educationally Trained Employee

About the institution:

Sikkersoq is an integrated institution with 64 children divided into 4 rooms, 24 nursery children, and 40 kindergarten children. The staffing ratio is 3 employees per room.

The institution is located in Nuussuaq, close to Kangillinguup Atuarfia, in a peaceful setting.

The position involves 40 weekly working hours with varying shifts. Sikkersoq is open during the day from 07:00 to 17:00.

The department currently consists of 14 employees: Manager, Deputy Manager, 3 educators, assistants, kitchen assistant, and a floater.

The full-time position reports to the Institution Manager at Sikkersoq.

Criminal and Child Record:

The position is subject to the law requiring the acquisition of a criminal and child record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child records. Therefore, we must note that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child record from the national police and the criminal record from the police.

The child record is obtained by the municipality with the individual's consent, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.

Salary and Employment Terms:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the current agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization at the time of employment.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probationary period.
