Consultant for Majoriaq Nuuk

The Municipality of Sermersooq is seeking a skilled and dedicated consultant for the Majoriaq Nuuk administration, starting on July 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Majoriaq Nuuk is characterized by the one-door principle, which means that citizens can turn to one place regardless of whether they seek guidance for work or education.

The Majoriaq Nuuk administration currently consists of 4 employees, including 3 advisors and an administration manager.

If you have an eye for detail and can maintain an overview in a busy everyday life, then you are the one we are looking for.

The content of the position:

The position is located in Majoriaq Nuuk. You should expect to have a diverse portfolio of tasks, where you will work across the Majoriaq Nuuk administration. Therefore, you should thrive on having many balls in the air and be able to navigate in relation to Majoriaq's many stakeholders and bring many ends together.

• Accounting / invoicing
• Case processing of finances in the area of revalidation
• Other economic tasks
• Preparation of internal accounts
• Preparation of material for inspection
• Guidance and case processing of education seekers
• General execution of tasks for education seekers and students
• Outreach guidance for young people
• Guidance of the oldest grade levels in primary school
• Processing of urgent dormitory applications
• Incoming and outgoing mail
• Miscellaneous tasks in Majoriaq Nuuk

Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
