Internal Audit is seeking a consultant to enhance the audit of Greenland's Self-Government. You will work with auditing, consulting, and developing internal work processes. Internal Audit is, in collaboration with external audit, responsible for the audit of the Government of Greenland. We work closely together, have an informal tone, and emphasize professionalism, quality, and accountability.
About the position
As a consultant in Internal Audit, you will play a central role in the work with auditing, advising, and developing our internal work processes. You will work both independently and in teams, and your tasks will include, among other things:

Revision of the Government of Greenland's units

Preparation of audit reports

Approval of accounting instructions, including inventory lists, etc.

Advising units in the Government of Greenland

Further development of work processes for auditing and reporting in collaboration with the audit manager, focusing on international auditing standards.
Your qualifications
We imagine that you:

Has a relevant professional education, preferably a master's degree in auditing (cand.merc.aud).

Has at least four years of experience in auditing.

Has experience with regulations in auditing.

Is good at expressing yourself clearly and precisely in writing.

Internal Audit is organizationally placed in the Agency for Economy and Personnel under the Ministry of Finance and reports to the head of the agency.
In the department, we have an informal tone, and besides working independently, we work a lot in teams.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
For an applicant with the right documentable skills, employment as a special consultant, chief consultant, or senior advisor can occur in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
